About this place
Hioki E.E. Corporation (HIOKI E.E.CORPORATION, IPA [ ‘ h i ɔ k i]) is a maker with its head office in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, that develops, produces and sells electrical measuring instruments. It was founded in June 1935. In 1935 Hioki Yoshizo made meters in Minato Ward, Tokyo. In 1937 Hioki Electric Instrument Works was established in Meguro Ward. In 1945 it moved to Sakaki, Hanishina District, Nagano Prefecture, as a wartime evacuation, and after the war it stayed in Sakaki and continued business.
