About this place
A suspension bridge in Hitachiota, in Okukuji Prefectural Natural Park, hung over Ryujin Dam, which dams the Ryujin River flowing through a V-shaped gorge. A pedestrian-only bridge 375 m long, said to be among the longest in Japan, 100 m above the dam lake surface. In May about 1,000 carp streamers swim across the Ryujin Gorge. Fees: adults 320 yen, children 210 yen.
