The Nagaoka Festival is a festival held in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture. It takes place every year from August 1 to 3 in Nagaoka. Its programme falls broadly into the Peace Festival, daytime events and the Grand Fireworks Display, and also includes lantern floating. The Grand Fireworks Display held on the second and third days is one of Japan's three great fireworks festivals.
