The only limestone cave in Kyoto prefecture, in Kyotanba. Found in 1927, a vertical shaft 52.5 metres long.
About this place
A park in Kyotamba, Kyoto, where you can enjoy cave exploration and the outdoors. The Shichishi Limestone Cave, discovered in 1927, is the only limestone cave in Kyoto Prefecture, and inside it has four parts with large elevation changes and winding passages. The park has 10 tent sites, 2 bungalows, a 20 m jumbo slide, and more.
