A ropeway at Zao Onsen in Yamagata. With a total length of 1,787 m, it links Onsen Station and Torikabuto Station in 7 minutes 30 seconds. The large gondola holds 101 people and goes up to the summit of Mount Torikabuto at 1,387 m. On a clear day you can see Mount Gassan, the Asahi, Iide and Azuma ranges, and there are trekking courses beyond where you get off.
