About this place
Kaneyu was a long-established ryotei restaurant in Yanagimachi, Noshiro, Akita Prefecture, and its building. It is registered as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. It is now open as the tourist exchange facility Noshiro City Former Ryotei Kaneyu. It is located in Yanagimachi in the centre of Noshiro. It was founded as a ryotei in 1890 (Meiji 23), and the main building was rebuilt as the present building in 1937 (Showa 12).
