Okawa furniture The collective name for furniture made in Okawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. A company headquartered in Okinawa, Okinawa Prefecture, that sells furniture and interior goods. Founded as an import and sales shop during the US military administration, the company name was taken from the Okawa Industrial Association of Okawa, Fukuoka Prefecture, which it sought help from at the time. See Okawa (company). A furniture retail chain (Oh!kawa) operated by Okawa Co., Ltd., headquartered in Saitama, Saitama Prefecture. It once had an affiliate, Super Value, but it is now a consolidated subsidiary of OIC Group Co., Ltd.
