About this place
Minna no Mori Gifu Media Cosmos is a complex in Gifu, Gifu Prefecture, whose core facility is the Gifu City Central Library. It opened on 18 July 2015. Media Cosmos is a complex and public cultural facility with library and local exchange functions, developed through an urban redevelopment project on the former site of the Gifu University School of Medicine and its affiliated hospital. It is about 2 km north of JR Gifu Station and Meitetsu Gifu Station, at the foot of Mount Kinka, where Gifu Castle stands.
