About this place
Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto is a municipal art museum in Chuo Ward, Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture. Its English name is Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto (CAMK). It is on the 3rd floor of the Biprace Kumanichi Building, which stands at the intersection of Torichosuji, with the heaviest traffic, and Kamitori in the very center of Kumamoto's urban area, and is the only museum in Kyushu to bear the name "contemporary."
