About this place
The Matsumoto Folk Crafts Museum is a folk craft museum in Satoyamabe, Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Taro Maruyama collected fine folk crafts and founded the museum single-handedly in 1962. The core of the collection is about 6,800 folk craft items collected by Maruyama. English names include Matsumoto Folkcraft Museum, Matsumoto Folk Craft Museum and Matsumoto Folk Art Museum.
