About this place
Azumino City Museum of Art is an art museum in Toyoshina, Azumino, Nagano Prefecture. It is next to Azumino City Hall. It is a member facility of the Azumino Art Line. Using the site of the former Toyoshina Town Toyoshina Junior High School, which closed in March 1985, it opened on April 18, 1992 (Heisei 4) under the name "Toyoshina Museum of Modern Art." On October 1, 2005, it was renamed "Azumino City Toyoshina Museum of Modern Art" following the merger. From April 23 to May 15, 2022, the reorganized 8th Nitten was held.
