About this place
Gyokusendo Co., Ltd. (GYOKUSENDO Co., Ltd.) is one of Japan's metalworking companies. Among the metalworking businesses of Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, famous as a local industry in Japan, it is the only long-established company that has passed down for about 210 years the traditional technique of "tsuiki copperware," in which copperware is made by hammering a single copper sheet into shape. Gyokusendo is the only company in the world with the technique of applying a wide variety of colours to copper. It makes the world's highest-quality copperware and has customers around the world.
