About this place
The former Saito Family Villa is a cultural facility in Chuo Ward, Niigata, Niigata Prefecture. The garden is a Place of Scenic Beauty of Japan as the Former Saito Villa Garden. It was built as a villa in 1918 (Taisho 7) by Saito Kijuro (Kokichi, 1864-1941), the fourth head of the Saito family.
