About this place
Tsubame City Industrial History Museum is a municipal historical museum in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture. It opened in 1973 (Showa 48), the Maruyama Collection Yatate-Kiseru Hall was added in 1984 (Showa 59), and a new building in 2008 (Heisei 20). On April 19, 2019, it reopened after renovation, with the main building renewed, a new hands-on workshop building and an outdoor exchange plaza.
