Saitama City Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is the world's first public bonsai art museum, in Kita Ward, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture. The "Omiya Bonsai Village" in Kita Ward, Saitama, born in 1923 (Taisho 12) in the wake of the Great Kanto Earthquake, is an area where some of Japan's leading bonsai nurseries are gathered, and its name is known among bonsai lovers not only in Japan but around the world.
