Iwatsuki dolls are dolls, a traditional craft, produced in Iwatsuki Ward, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture. Since the days of the former Iwatsuki City, the area has promoted regional development as "Iwatsuki, the Doll Town," and is known nationwide as a doll-producing region. Iwatsuki dolls is a general term for dressed dolls made and sold in Iwatsuki Ward, and various kinds of dolls are made, including seasonal festival dolls such as March (Hina) dolls and May (warrior) dolls, as well as dance dolls, Oyama dolls, ukiyo dolls, child dolls, Gosho dolls, Kabuki dolls, Ichimatsu dolls and kimekomi dolls.
