About this place
The Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park is a park in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. It was used as the Italian Embassy's villa from 1928 to 1997, and the building has been repaired, restored and developed as a park open to the public. It is one of the many foreign embassy villas built along Lake Chuzenji from the Meiji era onward. The main building is registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. The British Embassy Villa is nearby and is also open to the public.
