About this place
"Myth of Tomorrow" (Asu no Shinwa; English: Myth of Tomorrow) is a huge mural by Taro Okamoto. It was inspired by the irradiation of the Daigo Fukuryu Maru and is said to depict the resilience of people who overcome the tragic experience of the atomic bombing and are reborn. According to Toshiko Okamoto, Taro's adopted daughter and secretary, it is "his greatest and finest masterpiece."
