About this place
The Shibuya Municipal Shoto Museum of Art is an art museum in Shoto 2-chome, Shibuya, Tokyo. Centred on special exhibitions, it also holds open-call exhibitions and painting exhibitions related to Shibuya, as well as concerts and art classes. Until March 2010, in the tearoom "Salon Musee" on the second floor, visitors could literally sit on a sofa and have a light meal while looking at the exhibits. The building was designed by the Shirai Seiichi Institute and built by Takenaka Corporation.
