About this place
Takaoka Art Museum (TAKAOKA ART MUSEUM) is a public art museum in Nakagawa, Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. This entry also explains the Takaoka Municipal Art Museum, the predecessor of the Takaoka Art Museum. It opened on September 15, 1994 (Heisei 6). It holds permanent exhibitions centered on art crafts and metal art, and regular special exhibitions. The building has two floors above ground and one basement.
