About this place
The Tendo City Museum of Art is a museum in Tendo, Yamagata Prefecture. It is operated by the Tendo City Culture and Sports Promotion Foundation. It opened in 1990 as the first public art museum in Yamagata Prefecture. It mainly collects works by artists active in Tendo and the surrounding area. Opening hours 9:30-18:00 (last admission 17:30) Group rates for 20 or more people are in parentheses Half price for those who hold a physical disability certificate, a mental disability health and welfare certificate or a rehabilitation certificate. (Accompanying carers free)
