About this place
Historic Site Osarizawa Mine is a facility that makes use of the former Osarizawa Mine in Kazuno, Akita Prefecture. It opened as Mineland Osarizawa in 1982 (Showa 57), and was renamed Historic Site Osarizawa Mine and reopened after renovation in April 2008 (Heisei 20). It is operated by Golden Sado Co., Ltd., which also runs the Historic Site Sado Gold Mine in Niigata Prefecture and others.
