About this place
Kanefuku Co., Ltd. (English name: Kanefuku Co.,Ltd.) is a company with its head office in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, that makes and sells karashi mentaiko (spicy pollock roe). The company name comes from its predecessor, Tofuku Suisan Co., Ltd., which used as its shop mark the character fuku of Tofuku with the kane mark attached. It started by processing octopus and later moved into processing karashi mentaiko. With a management policy of carefully selling high-quality goods, it sells its own karashi mentaiko nationwide, centered on its home region of Kyushu.
