About this place
Kagami Crystal Inc. is a Japanese company that makes crystal glass, with its head office and factory in Ryugasaki, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is now used officially at more than 250 Japanese embassies and consulates, and is one of Japan's leading glass tableware makers. Besides glass tableware, it makes vases, ashtrays, crafts such as Edo kiriko and objets, made-to-order items, and whisky and perfume bottles. It is distinguished by its skill in the gravure (engraving) technique passed down by Kagami Kozo.
