About this place
Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation is a company with its head office in Kikuyo, Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture, that designs, develops, manufactures and provides customer service for various semiconductors. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Semiconductor Solutions. Within the Sony Semiconductor Solutions group (head office: Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture), the semiconductor division of the Sony Group, it is mainly responsible for semiconductor production.
