About this place
The Chemo-Sero-Therapeutic Research Institute is a general incorporated foundation headquartered in Chuo Ward, Kumamoto, Kumamoto Prefecture. It was formerly a pharmaceutical manufacturer whose main business was vaccines. It is commonly known as Kaketsuken. As of January 2016 (Heisei 28), it was one of the six domestic manufacturers of human vaccines and one of the three domestic manufacturers of human blood products.
