Tanakaya Shuzoten Co., Ltd. is a liquor maker in Iiyama, Nagano Prefecture. Founded in 1873 (Meiji 6). It began when Takeda Koichi, a descendant of the Takeda clan of Kai, came to the Tanaka family as an adopted son and ran a sake-brewing business. Gold medal at the 2006 (Heisei 18) National New Sake Appraisal (Mio) Gold medal at the 2009 (Heisei 21) National New Sake Appraisal (Mio) Gold medal at the 2011 (Heisei 23) National New Sake Appraisal (Mio) Highest award at the 83rd Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Taxation Bureau Liquor Appraisal in 2012 (Heisei 24) (Mio)
