About this place
Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten Co., Ltd. is a maker and retailer of daily goods and crafts. It also does consulting for craft makers (since 2009). It was founded in 1716 (1st year of Kyoho) in what is now Nara Prefecture. Under the banner "Making Japanese crafts healthy!," its goal is for other makers and production areas involved in crafts to become profitable without relying on subsidies, and to regain economic independence and pride in making things as craft makers.
