Zabieru Honpo Co., Ltd. is a confectionery maker with its head office in Oita, Oita Prefecture. It makes and sells famous Oita Prefecture sweets such as "Zabieru," from which the company name comes, and "Luisa." 1962 - "Zabieru" released by Chokyudo. 2000 - Chokyudo went bankrupt. Zabieru Honpo Limited Company established by former Chokyudo employees. Sales of "Zabieru" began. 2002 - Sales of "Luisa" began. Reorganized as a joint-stock company. Sales of "Toyo no Tachibana" began.
