Osaka Naniwa Pewter Ware is tin ware made in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture. It is made by casting tin and applying surface treatment such as polishing on a lathe. Products include Shinto and Buddhist altar implements, sake vessels, tea utensils, confectionery dishes, vases and other daily goods. A traditional craft designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. It accounts for about 70% of the share of tin ware nationwide.
