About this place
Shinkame Shuzo is a maker and seller of alcoholic beverages in Hasuda, Saitama Prefecture. It was founded in 1848 (1st year of Kaei) under the trade name Iseya Honten. In 1987 (Showa 62) it shifted its policy to full junmai sake production and, as the first all-junmai brewery since the war, has exerted great influence on the sake-brewing industry and has contributed to developing genres such as sparkling nigori sake, warmed junmai sake and aged sake. Its representative brand is "Shinkame," and it also handles the undiluted sake "Musashi Shinkame - Kame no O" and others.
