About this place
Iwami Murata Seisakusho was a company that formerly had its head office in Oda, Shimane Prefecture. In April 2020 it was absorbed by Izumo Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. It was a production subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing. Besides making leaded capacitors and EMI filters, it took on packaging and shipping of chip capacitors from Izumo Murata Manufacturing, another Murata production subsidiary. In recent years it has also focused on a lead-processing business that adds lead wires to chip components other than capacitors to increase their value.
