Nakaura Foods Co., Ltd. is a company with its head office in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, that makes, wholesales and sells gifts and tourist souvenirs. 1686 - Third-generation Kozaemon Kansuke founds a sake-brewing business (in what is now Mihonoseki, Matsue, Shimane Prefecture). 1921 - The fifteenth-generation Yoshio establishes Nakaura Shoten. 1947 - Nakaura Foods Co., Ltd. established. 1955 - Opens the Matsue sales office and factory in Higashichamachi, Matsue. 1964 - The Matsue sales office is raised to a branch office. Opens the Atami sales office in Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture.
