About this place
Tentaka Shuzo is a sake-brewing company with its head office in Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture. It is organized as a joint-stock company. Founded in 1914 (Taisho 3). While carrying on its tradition of making most of its products dry, in recent years it has set itself apart from other makers by using organic rice and organic koji as ingredients. The brewery itself is certified as an organic JAS business. Its Organic Junmai Daiginjo Tentaka won a gold medal at the National New Sake Appraisal announced on 18 May 2017.
