About this place
Saito Shuzojo Ltd. is a liquor maker with its head office and factory in Sako Nanabancho, Tokushima, Tokushima Prefecture. Founded in 1939 (Showa 14), it uses subsurface water from the Ayakui River for its sake brewing. It sells mainly within the prefecture as a Tokushima local sake. Under the Goten Zakura brand, it has sold local Tokushima sake since 1939. Besides designated-name sake and regular sake, it also makes doburoku and sake lees. In addition to sake, it also makes and sells liqueurs and honey wine (mead).
