About this place
Miyoshikiku Shuzo Co., Ltd. is a sake maker in Salad, Ikeda-cho, Miyoshi, Tokushima Prefecture. It was founded in 1903 (Meiji 36). Ikeda-cho, where Miyoshikiku Shuzo stands, is on the upper reaches of the Yoshino River, one of Japan's three great rivers, and is a cold area ideal for sake brewing, embraced by the Asan mountains to the north and the Tsurugi mountain range to the south. Early Edo period - The Umamiya family, the founders, were originally samurai from Ako. In the early Edo period they entered Awa with Hachisuka Koroku, and the Umamiya family was stationed in Ikeda in western Tokushima Prefecture.
