About this place
Shikino High-Tech Co., Ltd. is a semiconductor-related company based in Toyama Prefecture. It was founded in January 1975 as a subsidiary of Shikino Plating under the name Shikino Co., Ltd. At first it purchased and sold plating materials, but in 1986 it moved into the electronics field. The parent-subsidiary relationship with Shikino Plating ended in November 2003, though Shikino Plating still holds shares in Shikino High-Tech. Unusually for a company in Toyama Prefecture, it has introduced a flextime system (except at some offices).
