About this place
Ikeda Mohando Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company with its head office in Kamiichi, Nakaniikawa District, Toyama Prefecture. It was founded in 1909 (Meiji 42) by Ikeda Kaichiro, a medicine seller from Etchu. The company name comes from the meaning "let us be a model for society." Muhi, a topical itch-relief medicine, is the company's signature product and has been made since 1926. The product name comes from the word for "peerless," as there is nothing to compare it with.
