About this place
The Masunosushi Museum is a corporate museum in Toyama, Toyama Prefecture. It is sometimes written as the Minamoto Masunosushi Museum. It opened on 1 September 2009 in a converted tour course, rest house and shop (completed 7 April 1987) at the head office factory of Minamoto Co., Ltd., which makes and sells masunosushi, a local dish of Toyama Prefecture. The building was designed by Nagata Kitano Architects and Engineers. It is of reinforced concrete and steel construction, with one basement floor and five floors above ground, and a total floor area of 9,733 m2. The main exhibits are as follows.
