About this place
The Ozaki Kamaboko Museum was a corporate museum that once stood in Uozu, Toyama Prefecture. It was run by Ozaki Shokai (founded April 1953, incorporated 1965). Construction began in March 1993 and it opened on 14 March 1994. Until then the site had housed a restaurant called Kodama (opened 1972), designed to look like a Shinkansen train. That building and the head office factory (built 1969) were demolished and construction began in March 1993; the new facility was completed and unveiled on 10 March 1994.
