Sowa Kajuen Co., Ltd. is a food maker with its head office in Arida, Wakayama Prefecture. It engages in sixth-sector industrialization of Arida mikan, carrying out production, processing and sales of Arida mikan as a single chain, and has received awards as an excellent example of sixth-sector industrialization. 1949 - Founded the Sowa Joint Sorting Association with seven mikan farming households 2000 - Established Sowa Kajuen Limited Company 2004 - Began processing business and released the mikan juice "Aji Ichi Shibori" with sugar content of 12 degrees or more Released the mikan juice "Aji Maro Shibori" with sugar content of 11 degrees or more
