About this place
Kushimoto Marine Park is a marine park (formerly called Underwater Park) at 1157 Arida, Kushimoto, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, located within Yoshino-Kumano National Park. It is managed and operated by Kushimoto Marine Park Center Co., Ltd. It is an area designated in July 1970 (Showa 45) as Japan's first underwater park. Within the park, facilities are installed for viewing that sea directly and indirectly.
