About this place
Cosmo Park Kada is a corporate industrial park developed in Wakayama, Wakayama Prefecture. It is located in Kada and Isonoura in the northwest of Wakayama, Wakayama Prefecture. It is about 45 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport via the Hanwa Expressway and other roads. Planned by the Wakayama Prefecture Land Development Corporation during the bubble economy, it involved cutting into the hills spreading north of Kada, Wakayama, to collect the earth and sand needed for creating reclaimed land for the first phase of Kansai International Airport, and building a multi-use city on the land created in this way.
