About this place
Otaki Shrine and Okamoto Shrine are shrines in Otakicho, Echizen, Fukui. At the upper shrine (Okunoin), the main halls of both Otaki and Okamoto shrines stand side by side, while the main hall and worship hall of the lower shrine (village shrine) are shared by the two shrines, so the names of the two shrines are given together. The name under which it is designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan is "Otaki Shrine".
