About this place
Oyada Shrine is a shrine in Mino, Gifu. Its former shrine rank was village-district shrine (gosha). The main hall was rebuilt in 1672 (Kanbun 12) in the early Edo period and the worship hall in 1671 (Kanbun 11), and both are designated Important Cultural Properties. The tower gate was rebuilt in 1723 (Kyoho 8) and is designated a Mino City Cultural Property. It is said to have been founded in the reign of Emperor Korei.
