About this place
Honmyoji is a temple name used in Japan, with more than 50 temples of the same name in various places. A Nichiren Shoshu temple in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki Prefecture. Its mountain name is Kijozan - Honmyoji (Tsuchiura) The central temple of the Hokke-shu Nakayama-mon lineage that once stood in Katsushika District, Shimosa Province (present-day Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture). In the Sengoku period it merged with the neighboring Hokkeji and took the temple name "Hokekyoji" - "Shochuzan Hokekyoji" A Hokke-shu Jinmon-lineage temple in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. Its mountain name is Tokueizan - Honmyoji (Toshima Ward) A Nichiren-sect temple in Shirokane, Minato Ward, Tokyo.
