About this place

Mitsumine Shrine is a shrine in Mitsumine, Chichibu, Saitama. Its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine, and it is now a Beppyo Shrine of the Association of Shinto Shrines. Together with Chichibu Shrine and Hodosan Shrine, it is one of the Chichibu Three Shrines. In front of the worship hall stands a rare three-part torii (Mitsu Torii). It takes the wolf as its guardian, and wolf statues sit in various places in the shrine in place of komainu.
