About this place
Komo Shrine is a Hachimangu in Nakatsu, Oita Prefecture, also called Osada Hachimangu. Its inner shrine is Misumi Pond within the precincts (anciently also written with other characters), and its outer shrine is the main hall. It is said to be the ancestral shrine of Usa Jingu, the head shrine of Hachimangu across the country, and is an old shrine said to have been founded in the Jowa era (834-848).
