Sakitama Shrine is a shrine in Sakitama, Gyoda, Saitama. It is an Engishiki-listed shrine and its former shrine rank was village-district shrine (gosha). The "Sakitama" of the shrine name is said to be the origin of the place name "Saitama". It stands within the Sakitama Kofun Group in northern Saitama, and the shrine itself stands on top of the Sengenzuka Kofun. Its deities are the following two. Sakitamahiko no Mikoto Sakitamahime no Mikoto
