About this place
Takaoka Sekino Shrine is a shrine in Suehirocho, Takaoka, Toyama. Its alternative name is Takanomiya. Its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine. It has three main halls, each enshrining the following deities. Shinmei-sha (Kuni no Tokotachi no Mikoto, Ukemochi no Kami, Amaterasu Sume Omikami, Mikeiri no Mikoto) Kumano-sha (Izanami no Mikoto, Kotosakao no Mikoto, Hayami no Mikoto), with Susanoo no Mikoto and Kagutsuchi enshrined together Inari-sha (Ukanomitama no Mikoto (Inari Okami), Sugawara no Michizane, Maeda Toshinaga)
